Breathwork Definition

Breathwork: When repressed traumatic memories are carried as dis-ease in our body and mind it has been found that deliberate breathing can help relieve them. The goal of Breathwork is to allow movement towards wholeness and reunification within your self.

Though many people claim to know what correct breathing really feels or even looks like, many are wrong in the way they intake even a simple breath. Breathwork has been thought to relax and release stress and stimulants preventing everyday work and goals from being accomplished. The way a person breathes either lessens or worsens the emotional or fear response generated from a specific situation. Extreme forms of emotion or fear can too often be immobilizing and dangerous to one's health. Breathwork is a temporary was to relieve pent-up emotions such as fear and anger all the while moving towards to goal of wholeness and reunification within yourself.
